Mozilla Firefox-How to View Your Saved Passwords
Mozilla Firefox is a very good and one of the world’s three most popular web browsers and like other web browsers it also saves passwords as per the user instruction. While you login to a site for the first time and enter your ID and pass ward soon after submitting the data a message on the top left corner of the page will appear like this asking you to remember pass word. If you want to save your password for that particular site you can click “Remember Password” and the browser will save it for you –

If you want to save the password for that site. then click “Remember Password” and your pass word will be saved permanently. Two more options “Never remember password for this site” and “Not Now” are also available. These will appear by clicking the drop down button and you may proceed as per your choice.
How to view saved password In Mozilla Firefox
You can view your saved password at any time in need, as if you have forgotten it or for some other reason. To view your saved passwords in Mozilla Firefox, click Tools>Options, now a window like this will appear(In new version of Mozilla Firefox press F-10 to display old menu temporarily to view “Tools”) –

Now a list of all the websites(List of websites only without Password) for which you have saved the pass words will appear indicating the website’s URLs and your user name.
Here you can view all your saved pass words by clicking “Show Passwords” .Mozilla Firefox will ask you “Are you sure you wish to show your passwords?”
By clicking yes a window containing a list of
all the websites for which you have saved the pass words will appear indicating
the website’s URLs and your user name and saved pass words.
Precautions before saving Passwords in Mozilla Firefox
Though it may prove useful some times when you forget your password but it is
much risky. Remember gravity of risk is greater than advantage.
Never save passwords of your bank transactions or other Important website. For
this purpose you click “Never remember password for this site” while Mozilla
Firefox first time asks for it. Mozilla Firefox will never ask to save password
for that site again.
