Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a preinstalled software “WatchOn App”. For using the software you need to have an account with Samsung created through your Samsung Galaxy-S4 hand set. After creating the account sign in to your account using your Samsung Galaxy-S4 hand set.
Now open the “WatchOn App”, it will ask you some simple questions like Country, Zip Code etc. After you have done it the software will ask you some simple questions about your TV Model etc. Follow the simple instructions and you are done. Now your hand set is ready to be used as a remote control.
The “WatchOn App” has it’s own limitations hence it gives us limited options. For a wider use we will have to install additional software. These are available on internet at a nominal cost, even less than the cost of a remote control instrument.
