How to add Special Characters or ASCII codes or Alt Plus(Alt+) codes in a document

How to add Special Characters or ASCII codes or Alt Plus(Alt+) codes in a document-While we work on some document it happens that the document needs some characters which are not available on our keyboard. Some times we need to insert some type of symbol or some characters called the special characters. Such character are not available on our keyboard. To insert such special characters or symbols we need to use a combination of keys(The 'ALT' key followed by Figures).

 

How to add Special Characters or ASCII codes or Alt Plus(Alt+) codes in a document

These characters are called the non ASCII characters for these we need the 'ALT+???' input method. Some more characters and symbols can be created just by potting a zero after Alt and before the figures. For example if we press Alt+155 '¢' but if we press Alt+0155 '›' will appear.
