ALT Codes-List of Important Alt+Number Codes and Symbols to Appear
Some times while working on a document we need to insert a symbol and On IBM compatible personal computers, many characters are not associated directly with a key. Such special characters or symbols can be entered using the Alt+a Number input method popularly called The Alt code. Probably this is the best and only method and many computer users know how to enter these non-ASCII characters. You can use some more special characters using zero before the numbers given list. For example if we press Alt+230, “µ” appears but if we press Alt+0230 “æ” will appear.
How to use Alt+a Number Codes
Using the Alt+a Number Codes is very easy. Simply keep the “Alt” key of your key board pressed and enter the number given against the special character and release the “Alt” key, the desired code will appear where your curser is blinking.
